| 14/06/01 | Philippe Moreau Chef Moreau whose career has evolved around Cognac, passed away recently at age of 50. For some 10 years he was in charge of Courvoisier kitchen in Jarnac. A few years ago he set up a restaurant hotel complex, Le Relais du Marche, in Jarnac Champagne, the heart of Petite Champagne. It was there that we often tasted with him different Petite Champagne Cognacs and discussed a small carrots start-up business that farmers around Jarnac Champagne began developing. A very good Chef, a good taster and a friendly personality. We will miss him. |
